General Furnace Inspection
- C.O. Test- done to check for carbon monoxide leaks
- Check filter condition(replace if needed,cost of filter extra)
- Inspect motor, lubricate when possible**
- Check belts where applicable
- Inspect bearings, motor and squirrel cage**
- Inspect pilot flame & pilot assembly, clean when necessary
- Inspect burner flame air fuel mixture.
- General gas line check for leaks from fireplace gas cock to gas valve
- General cleaning of cabinet area
- Inspect condition of 24 volt & 110 volt wiring connections
- Check that thermostat is correct voltage for furnace, and operation
- Inspect condition of igniter on electronic ignition modules (replacement extra)
- Cycle unit and final inspection of overall unit
**Motors, bearings and belts may look, sound and feel good at time of inspection, but are not guaranteed to be free of defect due to nature of the product. |
